How would you like to get an advanced tip on how you can hit amazing topspin forehands? If answer is yes, then you are at right place.
In today’s video I am going to show you what I call the “hand turn” finish on forehand.
This is an advance tip, that I like to teach in a very specific way that will create consistent results.
So let me break it down for you!

The hand turn finish is the same as the wind shield wiper forehand.
Am I right?
Different in my view. The hand turn is a fuller swing.
Great stuff, Jeff. I love how you blend the low-to-high swing with also finishing with the racquet head facing down over the opposite side. Very well done.
Thank you, Greg I really appreciate it.
Fantastic. I teach Tennis and this is a great tip for my kids
Many thanks for sharing your experience!
Surprisingly, I seem to be more consistent when I hit a little flatter than when I try to hit with more topspin on my forehand. Maybe this is because I am not in a pure semi-western grip. At my age, it’s difficult to teach an old dog new tricks and change grips, but I’m going to again try this higher racket path with lower followthrough pattern next time I get on court. Due to the numerous injuries I’ve had over the years, I hit now more with slice than topspin of of both sides, but need to be able to occasionally generate more punch on my forehand, which has developed ito the weakest part of my game.
